A Kokoro man finds a mannequin doll destined to be scrapped at the factory where he works. Feeling sorry for the doll, he takes it home, dresses it in clothes, and names it "Kana." When he talks to the doll, he feels a sense of comfort, as if he is spending time with a lover, and the man begins to feel attached to the mysterious doll. Before long, his delusions run wild and he begins to fall in love with Kana. They go on drives and work on holidays just like Kana. And of course, they spend their nights together as lovers...
