His mother's best friend, Maki, suddenly comes to the house. Apparently, she and her husband had a fight. Junichi has to listen to Maki's complaints in place of his mother who has gone to work, but for some reason, the conversation turns to his own love life... Junichi has always admired Maki, and although he tries his best to talk to her despite being extremely nervous, Maki teases him and calls him cute. Maki then goes on to kiss him, saying it's practice to not be nervous, encouraging Junichi.
