Three months have passed since her husband disappeared, leaving her debts unpaid... Mari and her only son, Masaru, are homeless and are searching for a place to live. One day, they happen to stop at a condominium that is for sale, and a salesman calls out to them, telling them that they are running a "trial stay campaign."
