Osawa, who has just moved to Tokyo and into an apartment, one day hears his neighbor, Ayaharu, talking on the phone on the balcony with someone who seems to be her lover. Later, when he sees her seeing her husband off and learns that she is a married woman, Osawa wonders who the other person on the phone was, and then he witnesses her walking happily with a young man.
