Ayaharu is married through an arranged marriage to the son (Katsutada) of the president (Tadashi) of the parent company of a small construction company run by her biological father. Tadashi, a greedy womanizer, sets his sights on Ayaharu at a meeting and succeeds in keeping her close by by marrying her off to his son.
