Ayako Hiiragi, an international lawyer living in Los Angeles, comes to Japan to represent a Japanese company. However, as she conducts her investigation in preparation for the trial, she discovers that her client, Sugiura, has engaged in fraud. The client was a front company for the Yakuza.
