Ame and her boyfriend Ichiro have only recently started dating, and have only ever kissed, so their relationship is pure. Ichiro's father, Masashi, was still hung up on his wife, who ran away from him right after Ichiro was born. Because of this, he distrusts women and doesn't think well of Ame and Ichiro's relationship. When his father meets Ame, he is shocked to see that she looks just like his wife who ran away.
