The two, a company couple, were living happily until their wedding, but one day, Kokoro finds out that her fiancé, Takafumi, has been stealing company money to pay for his mother's medical expenses. Kokoro advises him to turn himself in, and decides to wait until Takafumi is released from prison. The two will not be able to see each other for a while, so they instinctively devour each other in the time they have left in order to weave a bond with her fiancé.
