In the Showa era... There were two maids, Osumi and Osugi, working for the Iikura family. The master of the house was a well-known writer named Iikura Seigo, and quite a lecher. Seigo had a relationship with the maid Osumi in place of his sick wife. However, he did not lay hands on Osugi, who looked after his wife, perhaps out of fear of contracting the disease. One night, Osugi was finally called to Seigo's presence. Henry Tsukamoto has painstakingly presented this lament of maids who, due to their poverty, have no choice but to embrace men.
