Manabu is staying with his father's older sister Junko in order to attend a prep school in Tokyo. Then, on the day of their visit, his mother Yuriko comes to Tokyo with Manabu to say hello and stay at Junko's house for a while... Manabu is anxious about being away from his parents for the first time, so he clings to Yurika more than usual, and Yurika accepts her son. But this is a relative's house, and they're practically out of place... The uncle and nephew look on with ominous eyes at the two of them, who seem to have gone beyond their parent-child relationship.
