Even after getting married, Mayumi and her husband continue to work as life insurance salesmen. One day, they are able to secure a contract from Sugiura, who runs a detective agency, and the branch where Mayumi works barely meets its sales quota. However, that is short-lived, as Sugiura suddenly calls and threatens to cancel the contract.
