With her son reaching a rebellious age, Reiko is worried about her family relationships. Her husband is always working and has no interest in child-rearing, so she has no one to talk to. One day, Reiko invites her husband to a parent-teacher meeting, but compared to the other fathers, her husband is not very interested. One day, she becomes interested in a parent, Ozawa, who is listening intently to what she has to say, and so she consults him about her troubles. As a single father, Ozawa is also worried about family matters, and before she knows it, they become friends and go to Ozawa's house to talk about their troubles. And every time they talk, Reiko finds herself being Kokoro...
