Shinji takes advantage of his days off to visit his father Ryuichi, who runs a company in Tokyo and is working away from home. While Shinji is surprised at how tidy his father's room is, Ryuichi brings home Hikari, who works at the company's reception desk. Seeing her cook a meal with ease, Shinji realizes her relationship with his father. Then, when Shinji gently speaks to Hikari, who is feeling lonely because she can't celebrate Ryuichi's birthday, Hikari gives herself to him, saying, "Hold me close."
