Sumire, a housewife who dominates her husband, lives her life without any complaints about her masochistic husband. One day, her father-in-law comes to Tokyo for a week and stays at her house. Sumire and her father-in-law had a long history of conflict and became estranged, and although he has mellowed out a little, he still makes mean remarks. Sumire doesn't want to fight, so she tells him she'll just have to endure it for a week, but after a day, she's stressed out over her father-in-law's comments about her cleaning the house and the way she talks.
