Alumni visits are an activity that students mainly undertake as part of information gathering when job hunting. They are so named because they involve visiting alumni from one's own university. During internships, there are many cases in which women seeking employment are subjected to sexual remarks, groping, and requests for sexual acts by men claiming to be alumni. Most of the damage is covered up and never comes to light, and it is said that the cases that have been brought to attention recently are just the tip of the iceberg.
