Moe is married to Tomoya, a former colleague from her days as an office lady, and the couple run a mountain lodge together. They don't have many customers, but they do earn a decent income during the autumn foliage season, so although they can't afford luxuries, they are able to live modestly. One day, the couple is visited by some men who say they are lost on the mountain trail. It turns out that they are gangsters on the run after a murder case, and they become lustful for Moe and commit a heinous act by pinning her down in front of Tomoya. This is the beginning of a never-ending tragedy...
