A soapland business is passed down from parent to child, and from child to grandchild. Naturally, any child born into the Awataka family is expected to take over the family business, and from an early age, they are thoroughly trained in soapland techniques and management know-how. However, one daughter has doubts about the family business and her occupation, and declares, "I want to be an ordinary office lady!", plunging the family into chaos. And so a family meeting is held.
