Haruka has moved to the countryside due to her husband's circumstances. Soon after the move, her husband is transferred to another location for a month. Left alone in a strange place, Haruka finds a business card in her husband's clothes and learns that he has been cheating on her. As she is soothed by the sadness of being betrayed by her husband, she is spotted doing so by Abe, the head of the neighborhood association. As Abe continues to talk to Haruka, he develops feelings for her and loses his mind and attacks her.
