With her husband away from home, Eriko has been raising her son on her own. One day, her son commits a violent crime, and Eriko is forced to work at a soapland, using the incident as an excuse. To protect her beloved son and her family, Eriko becomes a soapland hostess. As Eriko sinks into despair and humiliation, she begins to feel the pleasure of being a woman that she had forgotten through sex with customers.
