Yuki, a beautiful older woman who moved in next door, is a single mother. Asano is concerned about her, as she has recently gotten divorced and is having a hard time. Wanting to help but lacking the courage to do so, Asano hesitates one day when he witnesses Yuki and her ex-husband arguing. Asano quickly steps in to intervene when Yuki's ex-husband looks as if he is about to launch a punch, but ends up getting beaten up instead. Yuki's self-sacrificing actions strike a chord in Yuki's heart, and the distance between them deepens. Their relationship goes from being mere neighbors to becoming an irreplaceable one...
