In May 2024, news breaks of the arrest of female con artist Tenmuji Hanako. She was wanted nationwide for crimes including marriage fraud, honey traps, and theft. Hanako, who had no family, grew up in an institution. When Hanako ran away from the institution, Ippei took her in like a member of the family.
